Do any of these sound like you?
- You have frequent temptations to drink or use drugs and have difficulty resisting the temptation.
- You have been unsuccessful in stopping your substance use after trying multiple times.
- Your behaviour has affected your relationships with family, friends and work.
- You have support to stop using from family, friends, work and social environment and need additional professional support.
If you relate to any of these but are not able to commit to residential inpatient treatment, you may benefit from our outpatient addiction treatment services.
ARC Counselling Outpatient Addiction Treatment Services
We offer Outpatient services at our ARC Counselling offices in Winnipeg, Manitoba.
Intensive Outpatient Treatment Programs are for adults who suffer from addiction and mental health disorders and who are unable to participate in residential treatment. You will be abstinent or are on a managed taper program to become abstinent while participating in the program.
Intensive Outpatient Treatment Programs (IOP)
At the beginning of IOP, our therapists conduct a formal assessment of your recovery needs. This in-depth exploration delves deep into the impacts of substance use in all areas of your life. With that information, they’ll be equipped to create the most effective personalized treatment and recovery plan for moving forward.
Participation in IOP provides a safe, confidential, encouraging setting where you’ll address the physical, emotional, social, mental, and spiritual issues that underlie your addiction.
Intensive Outpatient Group Therapy
Group therapy offers you an important foundation of long-term, lasting recovery: building relationships and trust in others through group sharing and connection.
Group workshops consist of a series of topics, each building on the last, that take you through the program in a purposeful, sensible way. Support, guidance and encouragement is always available from your counsellors and group leaders when needed as you move through the program toward wellness.
You’ll commit to IOP group therapy workshops for three sessions each week:
Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays
6:00-8:30pm
You will also attend one individual counselling session each week.
